CDCFIB Extends 2025 Recruitment Application Deadline by One Week
The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially extended the closing date for its 2025 recruitment application. In a statement released on its portal, the Board informed the public that the application window, which was initially scheduled to close on Monday, 4th August 2025, will now remain open until Monday, 11th August 2025.
This additional week is intended to give more Nigerians, particularly those who encountered difficulties accessing the portal earlier, a chance to complete their application. The CDCFIB emphasized that the extension applies to all categories under the ongoing recruitment into the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS).
Applicants are advised to submit their applications via the official recruitment portal:

For those who successfully began the process before the portal experienced a brief downtime, a separate guideline has been issued. They are advised to read the update titled:
“CDCFIB New Link Out for Old Applicants to Verify/Complete Form”
to confirm and complete their application process without restarting.
The Board also used this opportunity to caution the public against scammers and unofficial platforms. It reiterated that the recruitment is entirely free of charge, and no payment is required at any stage of the process. Any individual or group demanding money under the pretext of offering assistance should be reported immediately.
CDCFIB reaffirmed its stand on conducting a merit-based, transparent, and accessible recruitment process that gives every eligible Nigerian an equal opportunity to serve.
