Important Notice from CDCFIB Regarding Ongoing Recruitment
CDCFIB Recruitment 2025 Update Today 17th July 2025
Naijaonpoint Media reports that the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially announced the temporary suspension of its ongoing recruitment application portal.
In a statement released on July 16, 2025, the board noted that the recruitment portal, recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, will be unavailable until Monday, July 21, 2025.
This temporary closure is aimed at upgrading the system to handle the growing number of applications and to ensure a transparent and seamless recruitment process across the four agencies under CDCFIB, namely:

Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS)

Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)

Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS)

Federal Fire Service (FFS)
According to Maj Gen AM Jibril (rtd), Secretary to the Board, “This upgrade will help us accommodate more users and ensure that applicants can submit their details without technical issues. We are committed to a fair and efficient recruitment exercise.”
The board acknowledged the overwhelming interest shown by Nigerian youths and thanked applicants for their patience.
