Reality TV star Cynthia Nwadiora, also known as Cee C, has spoken on the challenge that comes with gaining fame through the Big Brother Naija platform.
Naijaonpoint reports that she revealed this while appearing on a podcast hosted by fellow ex-housemate Boma.
The lawyer and entrepreneur, who featured in the season 3 and 8 editions of the show, explained that the kind of fame the reality series brings is sudden and leaves participants unprepared for the life that follows after the show.
Cee C said the attention from fans comes almost overnight, which makes it difficult for housemates to build solid connections or relationships that could help them sustain their place in the entertainment space.
She said: “One of the disadvantages of coming into fame through Big Brother is the fact that it is quick. You know nobody today and the you go into the show and come out they know you. You haven’t built the relationships you need to survive in the industry.”
Speaking further on her personal life, she said she has no problem dating someone in the industry.
According to her, she is open-minded about relationships and only considers whether the person is her type or not.
She said: “I don’t mind. I’m not very picky. If you’re my type you’re my type; if you’re my spec you’re my spec. It doesn’t matter…”
