Celina Powell Slams “Weirdo” Lil Meech Following Lawsuit Threat

Days after Lil Meech’s attorney threatened Celina Powell and a media outlet with legal action following a viral interview, Powell says she is no longer linked to the BMF actor.

“I have nothing to do with that weirdo Demetrius aka meme (Lil Meech to y’all). Please leave me alone about him,” Powell wrote, adding that she agreed Meech’s former girlfriend, singer Summer Walker’s recent comments, saying “His life is terrible.”

Powell previously claimed to be in a relationship with Meech and even shared a clip of a phone call in which Meech begged her to retract her statements about their secret dating and that he was broke and in bad shape.

“I’m begging you, please delete this stuff,” he said at the time. “This is my reputation, bro. I apologize for saying what I said to you. Celina, I said that to get ... deleted, Celina. That’s not how I tried to make you seem. I apologize for that.”

In the legal letter from his attorney, the We In Miami podcast was threatened with a lawsuit.

“We are writing regarding your recent episode of the We In Miami Podcast featuring Celina Powell, during which she made knowingly false, defamatory, and malicious statements about the Claimant. Specifically, Ms. Powell falsely claimed an ongoing romantic relationship with the Claimant and referenced past interactions that are entirely untrue.

“These statements were made with actual malice and reckless disregard for the truth and have caused and continue to cause substantial reputational harm, distress, and damage to Lil Meech’s professional relationships, including current and prospective endorsement and business opportunities. The be absolutely clear, the Claimant has never engaged in a romantic or intimate relationship with Ms. Powell. The representations made on your platform are entirely false, defamatory, and misleading.”
