netflix logo 1Netflix is preparing for the upcoming holiday season with the upcoming movie Champagne Problems, with a trailer now available. Starring Minka Kelly and Tom Wozniczka, Champagne Problems follows an American businesswoman who travels to France to close a champagne brand sale but stumbles into a rom-com plot with the son of the brand’s founder.

Champagne Problems will drop on Netflix on November 19, joining Netflix’s library of modern holiday movies. The supporting cast includes Thibault de Montalembert, Xavier Samuel, Maeve Courtier-Lilley, and Flula Borg. Champagne Problems is written and directed by Mark Steven Johnson (Christopher Robin, Ghost Rider). Check out the trailer for it below:

As the trailer shows, Champagne Problems focuses on Sydney (Kelly), an executive who is perhaps too focused on her job when she is in Paris at Christmastime, and is encouraged by her friend to try to enjoy herself for one night — leading to her meeting Henri (Wozniczka), who turns out to be the heir to the world-renowned Champagne brand Syndey is there to buy.

Champagne Problems’ trailer hints at some themes surrounding the characters’ professional lives, such as Sydney’s drive and Henri wanting to protect his family’s business. But it clearly markets itself primarily as a feel-good Netflix seasonal special, with a sweet romance and lovely settings, hopefully delighting audiences just as the holidays begin this year.
