Chams Lists N3.658bn Shares from Private Placement on NGX

The N3.658 billion shares sold from the private placement of Chams Holding Company Plc have listed on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) Limited.

Business Post reports that stocks from the exercise were accepted for trading on Customs Street on Monday, November 17, 2025.

In the private placement, Chams issued a total of 1,955,910,000 ordinary shares of 50 Kobo each at N1.87 per unit.

The addition of the equities to the shares of the already on the stock exchange has increased the company’s total shares to 6,651,970,000 ordinary shares from 4,696,060,000 ordinary shares.

The stocks were sold to select investors, with proceeds to be used for equity funding and technical supports. The private placement opened on Monday, September 1, 2025, and close on Friday, September 12, 2025.

Confirming the listing of the new equities, the NGX Head of Issuer Regulation Department, Mr Godstime Iwenekhai, in a notice said, “Trading licence holders are hereby notified that additional 1,955,910,000 ordinary shares of 50 Kobo each of Chams Holding Company Plc were on Monday, November 17, 2025, listed on the daily official list of Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX).

“The additional shares listed on NGX arose from the company’s private placement of 1,955,910,000 ordinary shares of 50 Kobo each at N1.87 per share.

“With the listing of the additional shares, the total issued and fully paid-up shares of Chams Holding Company Plc have now increased from 4,696,060,000 to 6,651,970,000 ordinary shares of 50 Kobo each.”
