WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Lil Durk, who was slated to go to trial later this month after being charged in connection with a murder-for-hire plot, has now had his trial date pushed back to October 14, 2025. Attorneys are still reviewing all of the evidence. According to reports, the prosecution team has to search through more than 230 GB of digital evidence, including audio and video recordings. Attorneys will also have to wade through more than 20,000 pages of reports, witness statements, medical records, photographs, and more. Things could go from bad to worse for Durk after it was revealed that one of his co-defendants is considering a plea deal, meaning he may be ready to snitch on the “Ahhh Ha” rapper. Deandre Dontrell Wilson’s attorney requested a “pre-plea sentence report” to decide whether Wilson’s criminal history classification under U.S. Sentencing Guidelines, meaning he may avoid a full trial. Durk has denied all of the charges. The feds allege Durk was trying to flee the country before his November arrest. “The apprehension of Mr. Banks as he attempted to leave the United States is once again proof that the FBI and our extraordinary partners at the Los Angeles Police Department have a long reach,” said Akil Davis, Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI Los Angeles Field Office. “No excuse can justify this violent act and let me be clear: While you’re going about your life, thinking you ‘got away with it,’ the FBI is piecing together the facts that will serve as your undoing.” [social_warfare]
