Biography

Chidera Ejuke was born on January 2, 1998 in the northern city of Zaria, Kaduna state, Nigeria. His journey into professional football began at Supreme Court FC where he developed as a young player before joining Gombe United in 2016.

In March 2017, Ejuke signed a three-year deal with Norwegian club Valerenga and only two years later, in July 2019, he transferred to Dutch side SC Heerenveen.

On 28 August 2020, Ejuke joined Russian club CSKA Moscow on a four-year contract. He made an impact early, scoring in a 3–1 derby victory against Spartak Moscow on 30 September 2020.

Ejuke was forced to suspend his CSKA Moscow contract for two consecutive seasons (2022–23 and 2023–24) under FIFA regulations related to the war in Ukraine, joining Hertha BSC and then Royal Antwerp on one-year deals.

Following the expiration of his contract with CSKA Moscow in the summer of 2024, Ejuke secured a permanent move to Spanish club Sevilla as a free agent.
