Chioma Avril Rowland, the wife of popular singer, Davido, is reportedly facing a challenge with her upcoming white wedding in Miami, Florida.
According to blogger, Stella Dimokokorkus, her parents and sister might not attend the event because of issues with their US visitor visas.
Naijaonpoint understands that the problem started after Chioma’s family travelled to the United States after the couple’s traditional wedding held in Lagos in June 2024.
It was reported that they stayed beyond the allowed six months, leading US immigration officials to cancel their visas and impose a five-year ban on their re-entry.
Chioma’s father, who was expected to escort her during the white wedding planned for Saturday, is now unlikely to be present.
This absence has also reportedly raised concerns about the care of Chioma and Davido’s twins born in 2023, as her parents had been helping with childcare.
Those close to the family said the visa rules were explained to Chioma’s relatives when they received their permits, but the extended stay led to the current situation.
In other news, Nollywood actress Evan Okoro has cried out over threats to her life, pointing fingers at her estranged husband following the breakdown of their marriage.
Naijaonpoint reports that the actress, known for her role as ‘Doctor Maria’ in the movie ‘Sexy Investment’, took to Instagram to reveal that she has been living in fear since their separation.
She disclosed that the marriage had become unbearable, describing it as a decision she now regrets.
Okoro said her bride price was never paid, and efforts by her family to correct that have failed.
