Christian Keyes is making explosive claims about behind-the-scenes Tyler Perry, accusing him of trying to seize control of his successful BET+ drama All the Queen’s Men after it became a hit.

Keyes, who created the series and stars in it, says the issue arose after the show gained momentum following its 2021 debut. Starring Eva Marcille as the head of a male exotic dance empire in Atlanta, the series quickly became one of BET+’s most popular scripted shows.

“He wanted ownership, control, and access to the entire world I created,” Keyes said in recent interviews tied to an ongoing legal dispute. According to Keyes, the discussions felt aggressive rather than cooperative. “This was not about partnership,” he said. “This was about taking something that already worked.”

Keyes claims he rejected several proposals that would have stripped him of creative authority. “I was asked to give up the soul of the show,” he said. “That was never an option.”

The situation allegedly worsened after he refused. “When I said no, everything changed,” Keyes said, describing what he viewed as a threatening shift in tone.

Perry has not publicly responded to the allegations.
