FULHAM are reportedly making a move for Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze, offering a loan deal with an option to buy that could become an obligation.
The Nigeria international is currently at AC Milan, where he has struggled to get playing time.
There had already been suggestions that Fulham were interested in Chukwueze, along with Fenerbahce and others, but AC Milan were not ready to release him without guarantees of a sale.
According to Calciomercato.com, that might be changing, with the English Premier League club content to introduce some clauses making this an obligation to buy at the end of the season.
It is not clear at the moment if the terms will be suitable for AC Milan or Chukwueze, who could be eager for an exit from the Italian giants.
Chukwueze was bought from Villarreal in the summer of 2023 for €21.1m plus up to another €7m in add-ons.
However, he has only contributed eight goals and six assists in 69 competitive appearances, the vast majority of his games coming as a substitute.
Sky Sport Italia had already reported that Milan were looking towards Vasco da Gama talent Rayan if Chukwueze was to be sold.
Another Nigeria international, Victor Boniface, is on the verge of completing a move to Milan from Bayer Leverkusen, while Chukwueze could link up with fellow Super Eagles stars Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi at Fulham.
