WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Comedian Bill Bellamy headed to The Breakfast Club, where he hilariously weighed in on Shannon Sharpe’s legal issues. “First of all, Shannon Sharpe did not see ‘How to Be a Player’ at all,” said the actor. Bellamy added that Sharpe is 56 years old and that he “should’ve seen it coming,” and that after Sharpe’s first tape leaked, referring to Sharpe’s “accidental” live stream, he should have known to slow down then. Sharpe is currently facing serious legal allegations stemming from a civil lawsuit filed in April 2025. The plaintiff, identified as Jane Doe, alleges that during their nearly two-year relationship, Sharpe sexually assaulted her on multiple occasions, with the most recent incident being January 2025. The lawsuit also accuses him of secretly recording their sexual encounters without consent and sharing them, as well as threatening and emotionally manipulating her. Sharpe has categorically denied all allegations, calling the lawsuit a “blatant and cynical attempt to shake down” and insisting the relationship was entirely consensual. His legal team has released text messages reportedly proving her consent and intimacy between the two parties. Sharpe’s attorney, Lanny J. Davis, also confirmed that Sharpe had offered a $10 million settlement during mediation. Doe is seeking $50 million.
