Comedian HaHa Davis, best known for turning social media skits and signature catchphrases into a nationwide brand, was arrested on domestic violence charges in Utica, Michigan, on Friday,

According to authorities, Davis was taken into custody and booked at Macomb County Jail. He was released shortly after posting a $5,000 bond. At this time, details surrounding the alleged incident remain scarce, and Davis has yet to address the situation publicly.

The Detroit-born comic was scheduled to perform that same night in the We Them Ones comedy tour stop hosted by Mike Epps. The lineup also featured heavy hitters like Lil Duval, Kountry Wayne, and DC Young Fly.

Launching his career in 2013 through Vine and Instagram, Davis quickly gained traction with his humorous sketches and memorable catchphrases like “Dis finna be a breeze” and “Ooh I’m outta,” which caught the attention of major artists, leading to collaborations with Snoop Dogg and features on Chance the Rapper’s Grammy-winning album Coloring Book, where he appeared on tracks such as “No Problems,” “All Night,” and “Blessings.”
