The Super Eagles star has been linked with multiple Premier League clubs this summer, but he now has suitors from the Serie A…

Italian Serie A club Como are set to lock horns with Premier League sides Brentford and Everton for Super Eagles midfielder Christantus Uche, Soccernet.ng reports.

Uche has attracted a lot of interest from clubs in Europe’s top five leagues this summer. This should not come as a surprise, as he had a strong debut campaign with Getafe, despite joining the club from third-tier Spanish club Ceuta for just €500,000 last summer.

The Super Eagles star contributed four goals and six assists in 33 LaLiga appearances for Los Azulones last season.

His performances have seen him linked with clubs like Everton, Leeds United, Brentford, and Atletico Madrid this summer, but none of them have made an offer.

Due to the key role he played last season, Getafe gave him the number 10 jersey just days after Barcelona handed their wonderkid Lamine Yamal the same number.

Meanwhile, the speculations surrounding Uche have not stopped. According to Spanish outlet AS, Como are seriously interested in signing the 22-year-old midfielder.

The club did well in the Serie A last season, as they finished 10th in their debut campaign, and they are looking to do better this season.

The transfer window closes in about eight days, and clubs tends to move swiftly in the closing hours.

Como believe that Christantus Uche can offer them a lot in the middle of the park with his grit and powerful play. His penchant for scoring goals also makes him am enticing option.

Getafe value Uche at around €25 million, but Como are ready to pay €18 million at the moment.

Nevertheless, Uche seems happy at Getafe, and unless a very big offer comes in, he will likely stay with Loz Azulones.
