Nollywood actress Sonia Ogiri has joined the list of celebrities who is officially a US citizen.

The movie star, via her Instagram page, shared photos of herself at the office of the US Department of Quality Home as she announced that she is officially a US citizen.

Sonia promised to share the story of her journey as she expressed gratitude to her friends.

In April, Sensational dancer Korra Obidi had became a citizen of the United States of America. The internet dancer, revealed that along with many other immigrants, she was sworn in as a citizen of the country.

Also, in February, blogger and former singer Tunde Ednut had officially became a US citizen and had bagged a Lifetime Achievement Award from former US president Joe Biden.

Joining them, actress, Osas Ighodaro’s ex-husband, Gbenro Ajibade became a US citizen. The actor, via his Instagram page, made the good news as he shared photos of himself at the U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services office holding his documents. Gbenro credited his Maker for the new feat and expressed gratitude to Him.

Last year, Nigerian singer, Lamboginny officially became a US citizen. The musician expressed gratitude to God and his partner, Bambii for standing by him throughout the process. He revealed that he cried, danced, and screamed in disbelief at how God turned his life around and is a living testimony of His grace.
