Conscience-pricked Islamic Evangelist Resigns As Kwara Governor’s Aide – Independent Newspaper Nigeria

LAGOS – A popular Islamic cleric and singer, Ibraheem Lagbara has rendered his immediate resignation as the Special Assistant to the Kwara State governor on Artistes’ Matters.

The conscience-pricked Islamic devotee stated that his resignation is based on the fact that since he was appointed in trust to serve the public via his talent and add value to public service but for one year and seven months could not see himself adding value, he felt there was no need to continue taking salary for doing nothing.
