Continue to pray for Tinubu – Wike urges Nigerians

He made this appeal during the launch of the six-lane Arterial Road N5, also known as Obafemi Awolowo Way, in Life Camp, Abuja.

Wike stated, “I urge everyone to keep praying for Mr. President, so that the lost hope of our people can be restored, which is why he introduced the ‘Renewed Hope Agenda.’

“This government aims to restore the hope people have lost. Many residents here likely doubted this road would ever be repaired. But the President insists, ‘Nothing is impossible.’”

The minister highlighted that all ongoing projects in the nation’s capital are the result of approvals by President Tinubu. He called on Nigerians to continue supporting the current administration in delivering on its campaign promises.

“We thank God that Mr. President, in his wisdom, has empowered us to move forward in the FCT by raising our budget limit.

“You can see that contracts for new schools and additional police stations are underway to safeguard our people, all thanks to Mr. President’s support,” he added.

Wike stressed that the new road project will generate jobs, stabilize food prices, and boost the local economy.

He urged the contractor, Julius Berger Nigeria, to aim for completion in 14 months, ahead of the planned 18-month schedule, with a promise of future contracts if achieved.

The Arterial Road N5 project is part of a larger initiative to enhance FCT infrastructure, positioning Abuja as a more accessible and economically dynamic city.
