Country Star Jimmie Allen Loses Sexual Assault Lawsuit

MTO Square

American country singer Jimmie Allen has lost a lawsuit accusing him of sexual assault.

Jane Doe alleged that the assault took place in a Las Vegas hotel room back in 2022. She says that while she willingly flew to Nashville and “felt safe” with him in the hotel room, and agreed to sex only “with a condom.” She says the singer refused to use a condom and that he ignored her when she repeatedly told him “no.”

“He told her he would respect her request,” Jane Doe claimed in her complaint, “Yet, as their encounter progressed, Allen p*netrated Plaintiff during sex with his p*nis and without a condom. Allen told Plaintiff he wanted to get her pregnant. Plaintiff said no….He refused.”

She says she noticed his phone in the closet, recording, and when he fell asleep, she grabbed the phone, deleted the video, and turned Allen’s phone in to her local police department.

The judgment came after the singer reportedly disregarded court-imposed deadlines and orders.

“The defendants throughout have failed to comply with case management discovery deadlines and even failed to comply with specific Orders of this court,” the judge wrote in the ruling.

He was ordered to pay the victim’s attorneys $6,000 for a last-minute cancellation.

While Doe’s attorneys celebrated the legal win, Allen’s attorneys issued a statement to PEOPLE, vowing to fight the default judgment.

“This ruling was not based on the merits of the allegations. Mr. Allen has consistently and unequivocally maintained his innocence, and he firmly denies these accusations,” Ted Anastasiou said.

“As with earlier accusations brought on the same baseless grounds, this case is equally meritless. The default judgment reflects the shortcomings of prior representation, not any wrongdoing by Mr. Allen. It is well-established that a client should not be penalized for the failures of their attorney, and Mr. Allen should not be deprived of his right to a fair defense,” he continued. “We intend to take immediate action to set aside this judgment and to ensure that the matter is decided on facts and evidence, rather than procedural missteps. Mr. Allen looks forward to the opportunity to clear his name in court.”
