WATCH THE VIDEO HERE The Federal High Court in Abuja has stopped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from interfering in the leadership of Dan Orbih and his team in the South-South region. Justice Inyang Ekwo, who gave the ruling, said the PDP must not interfere in the work or leadership of the South-South Zonal Working Committee led by Orbih. POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the committee, backed by FCT Minister Wike was elected on February 22, 2025, in Calabar, Cross River State. The court’s order will be valid until a final decision is made in the ongoing case, labelled FHC/ABJ/CS/505/2025, filed by Chief Dan Orbih and members of his committee. Justice Ekwo also stopped another group led by Chief Emmanuel Ogidi, which was appointed by the PDP’s National Working Committee (NWC), from acting as leaders of the zone or parading as zonal committee. The case was adjourned to Friday, April 11, 2025.
