The firestorm erupted when Olubi’s ex-partner Max Obae, detailed years of abuse in an X Space, claiming he faked queer-feminist credentials to infiltrate women’s circles and silence victims with cash.
Resurfaced tweets from 2009-2013—boasting pedophilia fantasies, bestiality, and HIV risks—intensified demands for his arrest and OON revocation, with #IkoyiDiddy trending nationwide.
Uloma broke silence on November 14, stating: “I will not excuse behavior that promotes harm or rape culture.” Yet her past praise of Olubi fueled accusations of selective outrage, especially after Feminist Coalition’s #EndSARS millions faced transparency probes.
Kiki and Ozzy remain mute, amplifying cries of “fake feminism.”X users unleashed fury: “They scream patriarchy but dine with monsters,” one post read, amassing 600,000 views.
The scandal has reignited debates on accountability, with critics arguing feminists weaponise causes for clout while ignoring “black male abusers.”
Paystack’s independent probe continues, but the damage is done. As one user put it: “If your ally is Ikoyi Diddy, what does that say about your movement?”
