“Crying and smiling through it all” – Uche Ogbodo shares update on her recovery as she takes her first meal following surgery (Video)

Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has given fans an update on her tummy surgery.

Kemi Filani reported a week back that Uche revealed she was finally ready to give herself a makeover as a birthday gift. She disclosed that she would be undergoing surgery – a tummy tuck procedure (BBL).

On Sunday, she shared a video of her in a hospital as she urged her fans to pray for her.

In a follow-up post, Uche shared her first video after her tummy tuck procedure, as she expressed gratitude to her Maker and appreciated her doctors

Giving fans more update via her Instagram page, she shared a video of herself taking her first meal, revealing that she has been crying and smiling throughout.

Uche Ogbodo adds to the growing list of celebrities who have undergone surgery.

Back in January, skitmaker Zics Aloma underwent a nose surgery. The content creator shared a video of his journey, as he assured his fans that he was perfectly fine and promised to share the healing process.

Last year, Big Brother Naija ‘Double Wahala’ housemate Nina Ivy underwent a breast reduction surgery after having two kids. The reality star expressed excitement as she stated that she never really felt comfortable and confident about her breast and was super excited to make a change.

Big Brother Naija Level Up winner, Phyna, in an interview with Naija 102 FM, admitted that she had worked on her tummy, but clarified that she hasn’t touched her body. Explaining the difference between the two, Phyna revealed that she is open to undergoing surgery in the future.

Big Brother Naija, Bambam, admitted in an Instagram video that she had a liposuction surgery. She shared her story on the dark side of surgery, as she noted how no one knew she had altered her shape, hence, why she decided to come clean about it.

In 2023, Warri Pikin admitted that she underwent weight loss surgery. She candidly disclosed that her decision was rooted in health concerns, and was influenced by her husband.

To add to it, after becoming a subject of discussion at the 2022 AMVCA over her body transformation, Eniola Badmus admitted that she went for gastric bypass surgery in Turkey, revealing that it was to control her eating habits.
