Cuba Gooding Jr., once a close friend of Sean “Diddy” Combs, is sending positive vibes everybody’s way amid Diddy’s ongoing sex trafficking trial.
“Like I said, I pray for the brother, and I pray for the victims, and I pray for Cassie and her family,” he told TMZ, who caught up with him this week. “That’s all I can do from a bystander’s point of view.”
The Hollywood actor was caught up in the scandal after producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones filed a $30 million lawsuit against Diddy alleging that while working on Diddy’s “Love” album between 2022 and 2023, he was subjected to unwanted sexual contact, drugging, and coercion into participating in sex acts with prostitutes.
#CubaGoodingJr. says he’s turning to the Lord during this trying time for #Diddy … revealing he’s praying for the fallen mogul as his federal trial creeps on.

Jones claimed that Combs groped him without consent and attempted to “groom” him into engaging in sexual activities with Gooding Jr. A New York judge later dismissed five of the nine claims, including those under the RICO Act, but allowed specific allegations of sexual assault and premises liability to proceed.
Last month, a judge ordered Jones to refile his lawsuit against them after failing to serve both stars with the necessary legal documents to proceed with the suit.
