The Kaduna State Government has called on all eligible residents to actively participate in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise, describing it as crucial to strengthening democracy and inclusive governance.

The call was made in a statement issued by the Commissioner for Information, Malam Ahmed Maiyaki, in Kaduna on behalf of Gov. Uba Sani.

According to Maiyaki, the Governor has directed that no eligible citizen should be left out of the registration process.

“This is not only about participation; it is about securing the democratic rights of our people and deepening inclusive governance,” he said.

The commissioner disclosed that the Ministry of Information was working in collaboration with that of Local Government Affairs, the Bureau of Religious Affairs,  traditional and religious leaders to ensure that awareness reaches every ward, village, and community across the state.

Maiyaki added that the citizens’ engagement remained a core pillar of the governor’s administration.

“This mobilisation drive reflects the governor’s vision of a people-centred administration where every voice counts and every citizen has a stake in shaping the future of Kaduna State,” he said.

Maiyaki called on all the stakeholders, including community leaders, youths’ groups, women organisations, and civic actors, to support the initiative and ensure mass participation in the exercise.
