WATCH THE VIDEO HERE THE Dangote Petroleum Refinery announced today a reduction in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, to N970 per litre for oil marketers. In a statement, the company’s Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, explained that this move reflects the refinery’s gratitude to Nigerians for their steadfast support in bringing the refinery project to fruition. The new price marks a reduction from the N990 ex-depot price announced earlier this month. “This decision also serves to express our appreciation to the government for its support, complementing efforts to foster domestic enterprise for the collective well-being of all,” the statement noted. The refinery reassured the public of its commitment to delivering high-quality, environmentally friendly, and sustainable petroleum products. “We are ramping up production to meet and exceed domestic fuel consumption, ensuring a stable supply and alleviating concerns about potential shortages,” the statement added. This price cut will enable marketers to save approximately ₦20 per litre of petrol purchased from the refinery located in Lekki.
