Nigerian disc jockey and billionaire heiress Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has poked fun at Manchester United following the club’s shock Carabao Cup exit to fourth-tier Grimsby Town, Soccernet.ng reports.

United suffered one of the biggest upsets in their modern history on Wednesday night, crashing out of the competition after a dramatic penalty shootout defeat to the League Two side.

The Mariners stunned the Red Devils with a 2–0 first-half lead before goals from Bryan Mbeumo and Harry Maguire forced penalties, where United eventually fell 12–11 in a dramatic shootout at Blundell Park.

What Cuppy Said on United

Reacting on social media, Cuppy shared a light-hearted post suggesting she feels more at peace since stepping away from following Manchester United’s ups and downs.

“See as I just come fresh since I stopped watching football and stressing over Man[chester] Utd,” she wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

The 32-year-old, who has previously expressed her love for football and even supported Arsenal in the past before her public flirtation with Manchester United, appeared to be poking fun at the Red Devils’ ongoing struggles.
