Dave Blunts. posted screenshots of an alleged text exchange with Kanye West over the weekend, showing him cutting ties with the Yeezy founder and stepping away from their musical collaboration.
In the messages, Blunts wrote that he “can no longer continue to work on this album” and is going on his “own journey.”
“It does not align with what you want me to do. I appreciate the opportunity but respectfully I’m out,” he texted Ye.
Ye reportedly replied, “Ok thank you. What are the parts that didn’t align.”

Blunts quickly clapped back,: “You are very lost. Please find God.”
The producer had already hinted at the split earlier this week, taking to Instagram Stories to tell fans he’s done working with Ye.
“Stop asking me about YE music I don’t work w dude anymore I’m on my own path!” Blunts wrote over a plain black background.
Back in April, Ye confirmed that Blunts wrote every song on Ye’s WW3 album, which was later re-titled Cuck.
“We would talk for hours, then he’d write three songs in a day,” Ye said of his time with Blunts.
