Davido affirms love for daughter, Imade, as she turns 10

Nigerian superstar singer Davido has reaffirmed his love for his first child, Imade Adeleke, as she turns 10 today.

Taking to his Instagram story, the father of six described her as his beautiful princess and affirmed his love for her.

“Happy 10th birthday to my 1st beautiful princess, Imade Adeleke!!
Daddy loves you. Big 10″.

Hours ago, Imade’s mother, Sophia Momodu, shared jaw-dropping photos of her dressed like a real-life princess, expressing gratitude to God. Sophia stated that her heart is full and God is good.

In her birthday message to Imade, last year, Sophia noted how 9 years ago, God smiled at her and since then, it has been blessings ever since. Describing her as the love of her life, she wished her a happy birthday.

Surprisingly, Davido, had made a promise to see her soon and expressed love for her.

To celebrate her birthday, Sophia threw Imade a pink-themed bash, which had in attendance Tiwa Sãvage’s son, who is bestie with Imade.

Sophia is currently in a bitter custody battle with her famous baby daddy. In June, Davido filed a lawsuit, demanding joint custody of Imade as he claimed Sophia was denying him access to her and was extorting money from him, which she denied. A week later, she had opposed his joint custody battle, citing the death of his son, among others, as reasons the singer is unfit to raise their daughter on his own.

Recall that things turned sour between Davido and Sophia after the singer publicly declared love for his now wife, Chioma Rowland, and reunited with her. This left Sophia infuriated, and she shared a post about a cat not taking rubbish from a dog. She later went on an extensive rant, accusing him of financially abusing her.
