Nigerian music star Davido has revealed why he wore a cufflink with a portrait of his late son, Ifeanyi, at his wedding.

The singer, who got married this month to the love of his life, Chioma, opened up to Vogue Wedding about their nuptials. Davido explained that the image of Ifeanyi was to keep him close to their hearts on such an important day.

He said his cufflinks held a portrait of their angel, keeping him close to their hearts on the most beautiful night of their lives.

“My cufflinks held a portrait of our angel, Ifeanyi, a way to keep him close to our hearts on the most beautiful night of our lives”.

Speaking about his marriage to Chioma, he said he felt at peace as he got to marry the love of his life and wake up next to her forever.

During their wedding vows, Chioma described Davido as her love, best friend, and the calm in her storm. She promised to walk with him forever and hold his hand.

Davido described Chioma as his love, peace, and hope and said she walked into his life quietly and became the loudest. He noted how she saw the real him and still chose him. The singer added that Chioma is his best friend, healer, and calm in the storm and stated that God brought her into his life to show her unconditional love.
