But Who Has Been Recruited, Armed, And Armored as A Team of Robins?
In the preview for DC K.O. Knightfight #1 from Josh Williamson and Dan Mora, Bruce only has a handful of seconds to take in the futuristic skyline of Gotham City before being attacked. Confronted by not one, but an entire squad of costumed Robins in unique uniforms and using unique weapons, all assumptions have been thrown out the window. This is not the Gotham City Bruce left behind, nor are these any Robins he or readers will recognize.
The official explanation of how Batman survived being killed by Joker is entirely new to fans, but raises questions about just how ‘dead’ other heroes who have been killed in DC K.O.’s first round truly are. But pushing all thosee riddles aside, the Robins are a total surprise. Audiences had been told that Batman would face future Robins in this series, but that was only limited to his actual former Robins, having matured to take his place as Batman. So it must be asked: which of Bruce’s proteges, if any, do these Robins serve as sidekicks?
DC K.O. Knightfight #1 is available November 5, from DC Comics.
