DDG has been granted permission to visit his 18-month-old son, Halo, in Italy under one condition after making the request to a judge.
Halle Bailey has temporary custody of Halo and is currently in Italy working on a film for two months.
DDG is not allowed to see his son without a professional monitor. He initially requested that his mother supervise his visits, but this was shot down by Bailey’s legal team, who have alleged that his mother has enabled some of his alleged past abusive behavior.
DDG did try to prevent Bailey from leaving the country with their son.
“I must be on set in Italy to film a movie. I am contractually bound to be there from June 7, 2025 to August 4, 2025. Darryl has known about this work obligation for months. This is my source of income, on which Halo and I rely to pay all bills,” she wrote in her legal response.
She went on to claim that DDG had not “contributed any regular support since Halo was born.”
“I will be held liable for damages to this film if I am not there, which I believe would be a breach of my contract,” the motion continued. “I cannot leave Halo with Darryl, as Darryl will be out of town a majority of those months. Halo is also a protected person by the Court’s Temporary Restraining Order.”
