Former manager Deb Antney is stirring up drama once again after weighing in on Gucci Mane’s recent appearance on The Breakfast Club.
In a new audio clip making the rounds online, Antney claims the rapper did not look like himself and even suggests something might have been off during the interview. According to her, Gucci seemed “drugged up.”
Antney says she watched the October interview, which featured Gucci and his wife Keyshia Ka’oir speaking openly about his mental health and schizophrenia diagnosis.

She says the rapper’s behavior did not match the man she once worked with. She says she does not buy that everything was normal that day and hints at long-running rumors about the couple.
“It just did not seem like him,” Antney said. “But there’s many rumors about that relationship, period. That’s not him. In a million years, you wouldn’t get to make me believe that either he wasn’t drugged up or something wasn’t going on with him there. That’s just not him.”
She does not stop there. Antney turns her attention to Keyshia, accusing her of acting like a “handler” and questioning why she would speak publicly about Gucci’s private struggles.
“That sounds like somebody that wants attention,” she continued. “That’s seeking attention, and that threw her husband out on the chopping block. I don’t care what anybody says… This ain’t about them worrying about no damn mental health. This is them worrying about people trying to be on top.”
During the original interview, Keyshia had explained how she helps Gucci manage difficult moments. She said she removes his phone apps, wipes his social media access and even changes passwords if needed to prevent the public from seeing him in distress.
