Denzel Washington is the big draw in the upcoming Gladiator 2 movie, but the Hollywood actor revealed he actually locked lips with a man in one scene…but that the scene was left out of the movie.
Washington plays Macrinus, who has been in relationships with other men in the past.
The interview then asks Washington how “gay” Rome is.
“I actually kissed a man in the film but they took it out, they cut it, I think they got chicken,” he responded. “I kissed a guy full on the lips and I guess they weren’t ready for that yet.”
He added, “I killed him about five minutes later. It’s Gladiator. It’s the kiss of death.”
The movie premiered in Sydney, Australia on October 30, 2024, was released in Australia and New Zealand on November 14, 2024, in the United Kingdom on November 15…all to positive reviews.
Gladiator 2 will be released in the United States on November 22.
