OnePlus is planning to bring two new high-profile smartphones to global markets in the near future. The OnePlus 13 is coming in January, it has been confirmed, and the OnePlus 13R will likely launch alongside it. With that being said, detailed OnePlus 13R specs have just surfaced.

The OnePlus 13R will be inferior to the OnePlus 13, but offer a lot of bang for your buck

The information is coming from 91mobiles, so let’s see what will the phone have to offer. As expected, it will be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The Snapdragon 8 Elite is reserved for the OnePlus 13.

The phone will offer 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It is said that more variants may become available at launch though, or later on. This is the variant that we currently have information about.

A 6.78-inch 2780 x 1264 AMOLED display will be included on the front. It will offer a 120Hz refresh rate, and it will seemingly be curved, though we cannot confirm that just yet.

A 6,000mAh battery + 80W charging

OnePlus will include a 6,000mAh battery inside of this phone, the same battery pack as in the OnePlus 13. 80W wired charging will also be supported, but the same cannot be said for wireless charging, as it won’t be on offer.

Three cameras will be included on the back. A 50-megapixel main camera (f/1.8 aperture) will be backed by a 50-megapixel camera (f/2.0 aperture lens), and an 8-megapixel unit (f/2.2 aperture lens). One of the two secondary cameras is an ultrawide unit, we’re not sure about the third. On the front, you’ll get a 16-megapixel camera (f/2.4 aperture).

Android 15 will, of course, come pre-installed. On top of it, you’ll get OnePlus’ OxgenOS 15 skin. Bluetooth 5.4 will also be on offer, as will Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be. The phone will also pack an in-display fingerprint scanner of an optical variety and an IR blaster.

This handset will be known as the OnePlus Ace 5 or Ace 5 Pro in China. Both of those variants have been teased by OnePlus, but have not yet been announced. Chances are they’ll arrive before the OnePlus 13R, though.
