More bad news for Sean “Diddy” Combs after his request for bail was shot down by a judge for the fifth time.
Judge Arun Subramanian wrote that the court must “Find by clear and convincing evidence that the person is not likely to flee or pose a danger to the safety of any other person or the community if released.
According to the judge, Diddy is a flight risk and is also considered a “danger” if freed from the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center ahead of his Oct. 3 sentencing date.
The judge went on to write that Diddy would need “‘Exceptional reasons’ warranting release where it was undisputed that the defendant posed no risk of flight or danger, and where ‘unique circumstances’ counseled release, including the defendant’s advanced ‘age and serious medical conditions, which require care that the MDC may not be able to provide.””
Diddy was convicted of two counts of prostitution-related charges.. Prosecution is hoping that the rapper receives a sentence of at least four to five years in prison. He will reportedly receive 10 months credit for time served.
