Diddy Enters Domestic Violence Rehab Ahead of Sentencing

MTO Square

Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly opted to begin a domestic violence rehabilitation program ahead of his October 3 sentencing.

According to reports, the STOP program will help the disgraced music mogul manage his drug addiction as well as his violence towards women. The course is offered to inmates and is reportedly “focused on preventing sexual assault, domestic, and dating violence.”

During the jury selection process, Combs’ attorney Marc Agnifilo said that his client admitted to domestic abuse.  “It is relevant in terms of the coercive aspects, we are admitting domestic violence,” Agnifilo told Judge Arun Subramanian.

The world was shocked last year when a surveillance video of him assaulting Cassie Ventura in a hotel hallway in March 2016 was released by CNN. The footage showed the Bad Boy boss chasing, grabbing, kicking, and dragging Ventura. He is also seen throwing an object at her.

Shortly after, he apologized in a video posted to his Instagram, which he eventually deleted.

Earlier this month, Diddy was acquitted of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking and convicted of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
