Sean “Diddy” Combs has filed a $50 million defamation lawsuit against accuser Courtney Burgess, his attorney Ariel Mitchell and Nextstar Media Group for an interview where shocking allegations were made about him.

Diddy’s lawsuit accuses all three of lying about claims that he filmed alleged sexual encounters with other celebrities and that the videos were being shopped around online.

In an interview with NewsNation, Burgess alleged that the tapes “involved in the sexual assault of celebrities and minors” and that Burgess and Mitchell made the same allegations on several other news platforms.

Diddy denies the tapes ever existed.

Burgess also claimed that Kim Porter approached him through a third party to give him evidence, including a photo of Justin Bieber “kissing an unidentified male,” and even her memoir. Burgess doubled down on his claims that Diddy assaulted minors during a podcast interview.

“These defendants have willfully fabricated and disseminated outrageous lies with reckless disregard for the truth. Their falsehoods have poisoned public perception and contaminated the jury pool. This complaint should serve as a warning that such intentional falsehoods, which undermine Mr. Combs’s right to a fair trial, will no longer be tolerated,” Diddy’s attorney Erica Wolff said in a statement.
