WATCH THE VIDEO HERE A judge has ruled that Sean “Diddy” Combs can have access to his laptop in jail again, but only for the use of discovery. Diddy’s attorneys claimed that access to the laptop had been unfairly restricted and that it was preventing him from building a proper defense. The rapper can now use the laptop pre-loaded with discovery materials. “The MDC is ordered to give Defendant access to the Discovery Laptop seven days per week from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM,” Judge Arun Subramanian wrote in his ruling. “This can be in his unit’s visiting room or in his unit’s VTC room.” The judge added, “It is the Court’s understanding that the laptop has been pre-loaded with discovery materials but does not allow any functionality beyond reviewing those materials.” It has been alleged that Diddy has been engaging in witness tampering from jail, a claim he and his legal team deny. His trial is scheduled for May 5, 2025. [social_warfare]
