Sean “Diddy” Combs is confronting even more accusations as he prepares for a pivotal moment in his criminal case.

On Thursday, two separate sexual assault lawsuits were filed against the Bad Boy Records founder, one in Los Angeles, the other in New York, a day before his federal sentencing.

Lakeisha Ward alleges she was drugged during a 2018 pool party at Diddy’s L.A. mansion and later assaulted in a bedroom by the star himself. Hours later, another suit was filed by Dejoan Bledsoe, who claims that when she was just 18 in 2009, Diddy offered her a shot at stardom but instead drugged and attacked her at a Beverly Hills hotel.

Attorney Tony Buzbee, who represents both women, said the cases are part of a much larger wave of filings. “So far we are pursuing approximately fifty cases in New York and California,” he said, adding that more lawsuits are expected.

Diddy is preparing for sentencing for his July federal conviction. Though acquitted of the most severe counts, including sex trafficking, he was found guilty on two charges of transporting individuals for prostitution. Each carries a maximum 10-year sentence.

Prosecutors have urged the judge to impose more than 11 years, citing what they call a long-standing pattern of manipulation and violence. His legal team has countered with a request for a sentence capped at 14 months.

The hip-hop mogul, who has been held without bail since September 2024, is scheduled to appear in court today.
