WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Sean “Diddy” Combs has set his sights on Tony Buzbee, filing a motion opposing the Houston-based attorney’s request to represent a client in New York despite as he is no longer allowed to practice law in the state. According to the court filing, Buzbee’s “egregious misconduct warrants denial of the privilege of appearing in that district.” Reports circulated online last week that the Southern New York District denied his request for permission to practice in the state. Buzbee represents dozens of Diddy accusers, citing that he has taken over 100 clients to go after the disgraced music mogul in court. In response to the barring claims, Buzbee shared a document proving that he was licensed to practice law in New York. Diddy is currently in jail awaiting charges of sex trafficking, prostitution, and racketeering. His trial begins in May. Jay-Z is currently suing the attorney for extortion. “Viewed in the context of Buzbee’s prior statements threatening to file criminal complaints against, and publicly shame, a ‘long list’ of celebrities, the message in the extortion demands was clear: pay up, or face a criminal investigation and extraordinary reputational harm,” the complaint reads.
