One of the men tied to Sean “Diddy” Combs’ alleged sex trafficking ring, Sharay “The Punisher” Hayes, a male escort who took the stand during the explosive trial, issued an apology to Cassie Ventura.
In a recent CNN sit-down, Hayes said the following:
“I would apologize because I had no idea what she was going through. Obviously my involvement fevered her suffering. Me knowing that as a man and being raised by a single mom and a grandma, the thought of partaking in a scenario where a woman is being abused is tough to hear… [I’m] remorseful and regret contributing to a bad experience for her.”
Hayes called his courtroom appearance “terrifying,” admitting the intense atmosphere had his anxiety through the roof. While he never spoke to Diddy directly or even made eye contact, Hayes revealed Cassie instructed him not to acknowledge the Bad Boy mogul, whom she referred to as her “husband” at all.
He was paid $2,000 for his services at the time.
On the stand, Hayes detailed “freak-offs” that involved baby oil and stacks of cash, claiming he was hired to “set the mood” with Cassie while Diddy looked on. He even alleged the Hip Hop icon stepped into the hotel room completely nude, rocking nothing but a face-covering veil.
