Sean “Diddy” Combs‘ attorneys are asking a judge to allow the disgraced music mogul to serve his prison sentence at the low-security Fort Dix prison in New Jersey.

His legal team says that Diddy will be able to get help for his drug addiction in prison.

Diddy was sentenced Friday to four years and two months behind bars on two prostitution-related charges and ordered to pay a $500,000 fine.

“In order to address drug abuse issues and to maximize family visitation and rehabilitative efforts, we request that the court strongly recommend to the Bureau of Prisons that Mr. Combs be placed at FCI Fort Dix for RDAP purposes and any other available educational and occupational programs,” attorney Teny Geragos wrote in a letter to the judge on Monday.

While Diddy’s attorneys are trying to ensure he lands in a cushy, low-level prison, Donald Trump confirmed that the Bad Boy boss has asked him for a pardon, but did not reveal whether he had changed his mind about granting his request.

In August, Trump revealed he had been advised against pardoning Diddy due to past remarks made about him to the media.

As Diddy has already served 14 months behind bars, he is expected to walk free from prison in three short years, unless he is pardoned by Trump.
