Sean “Diddy” Combs suffered a minor setback in court after a judge ruled that new sex-trafficking evidence related to his now-infamous freak-offs would be allowed to be presented to court by the prosecution.

Diddy and his legal team fought to have the evidence thrown out of court ahead of his sex-trafficking trial, which begins May 5th.

“It is impossible for the defense to investigate and respond to those new allegations in the next two weeks,” Diddy’s attorneys wrote, adding that prosecutors have “explicitly conceded” that “many” of the alleged acts “were consensual.”

Prosecutors disagreed with Diddy’s attorneys’ claims that they were not given enough time to build a defense.

“The defendant’s request is yet another pretextual attempt to exclude powerful evidence against him without a proper legal basis,” they said in response.

Diddy’s team have bee fighting hard to have most of the evidence against him thrown out of trial and are even considering using his mental capacity at the times of the alleged crimes as his defense.
