Sean “Diddy” Combs won’t be getting out of prison as soon as he’d hoped due to a reported recent incident.
The 54-year-old disgraced music mogul, who has been serving time at Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution in New Jersey, was originally set to walk free on May 8, 2028. According to Page Six, sources say his release has been pushed nearly a month, to June 4, 2028.
No one is saying exactly why the date was changed… the Bureau of Federal Prisons and Diddy’s team have stayed silent, but the timing raises eyebrows. The shift comes right after a string of headline-making incidents inside the facility, where Diddy has allegedly been testing the limits of prison rules.
Just last week, TMZ reported that Diddy was caught in hot water with prison staff after being linked to a batch of “homemade alcohol” which consisted of a sugary, fermented mix of Fanta, apples and whatever else inmates could scrounge up. The DIY drink, often nicknamed “pruno,” is strictly forbidden.
It’s only the latest drama for the embattled rapper, whose recent mugshot, showing gray hair and a noticeably aged beard, went viral. Other images have shown Diddy laughing and mingling with fellow inmates in the prison yard, seemingly unfazed by his surroundings.
