The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State says Nigerians must recognise President Bola Tinubu’s silent revolution of the digital landscape, building a great future for youth.
The APC Spokesman, Mr Seye Oladejo, in a statement on Tuesday in Lagos, urged Nigerians to look beyond the noise of opposition parties, regarding Tinubu’s administration.
“The Tinubu administration is not merely talking about the future -it is building it, byte by byte, code by code, and innovation by innovation,” Oladejo said.
Oladejo applauded Tinubu for championing Nigeria’s ongoing technological renaissance.
He described it as a bold and deliberate revolution that is fast transforming the country into Africa’s uncontested digital powerhouse.
“True to his lifelong commitment to visionary governance and innovation, President Tinubu is building on the same foundation he laid as Governor of Lagos State,” he said.
According to him, Tinubu was the first governor to deploy technology to modernise governance, reform revenue generation, and enhance service delivery.
Oladejo said: “Today, that legacy has evolved into a national digital masterplan driving growth, innovation, and youth empowerment.
“Under the Renewed Hope Agenda, Nigeria’s tech ecosystem has witnessed a surge in both activity and global recognition.
“The administration’s 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) Programme, implemented under the Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, is equipping young Nigerians with essential digital skills.
“These skills include coding, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence – ensuring that our youths are not just job seekers but global competitors.”
Oladejo said that President Tinubu’s broadband expansion policy, aimed to achieve 70 per cent penetration by 2025, was already connecting millions in rural and urban communities to the digital economy.
He said that the administration’s focus on the National Artificial Intelligence Strategy, the Digital Public Infrastructure Initiative, and the Nigeria Startup Act implementation, had created a framework, enabling innovation to flourish.
“Concrete results are evident. Nigeria’s fintech sector, led by global brands such as Flutterwave, Paystack, and Moniepoint, continues to dominate Africa’s financial technology space.
“Local startups like Andela, Interswitch, and Kuda have become symbols of Nigerian ingenuity, attracting billions of dollars in foreign investment.
“The growth of tech hubs in Lagos, Abuja, and Kaduna, and the government’s direct collaboration with Google, Microsoft, and Meta for youth training and digital innovation, underscore Nigeria’s new global relevance,” he said.
According to him, beyond private innovation, government-driven initiatives are reshaping public administration.
He said that the adoption of digital ID systems, online business registration, e-taxation, and e-governance reforms across ministries, departments, and agencies reflected a government that was embracing efficiency, transparency, and accountability.
“These deliberate interventions are no accident – they are the product of President Tinubu’s strategic vision to diversify Nigeria’s economy and reduce dependence on oil through knowledge-driven growth.
“It is this courage to think ahead and act decisively that separates him from opposition leaders who remain stuck in analog politics while Tinubu is busy building a digital future.
“Lagos APC is proud that the President’s tech revolution draws directly from the Lagos model, where technology transformed governance, expanded the tax net, and made the state Nigeria’s undisputed economic hub.

Urging Nigeria’s opposition parties to stop the politics of bitterness and backwardness, Oladejo said that Tinubu was redefining leadership in the digital age.
“While they trade insults and chase shadows, he is investing in broadband, training millions of young Nigerians, and building platforms that will sustain generations.
“The contrast is clear: one side is working to secure Nigeria’s digital destiny; the other is stuck in analog dreams of the past.
“Under President Tinubu, Nigeria is not just catching up with the rest of the world – we are taking the lead as Africa’s digital vanguard,” he said.
