The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has officially opened its online portal for the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) 34/2025 Enlistment, inviting qualified graduates and postgraduates across the country to apply.

The DSSC enlistment provides an opportunity for young Nigerians with professional and academic qualifications to serve in the Air Force as officers. Unlike the regular recruitment exercise, DSSC is tailored for degree holders who want to build a career in the military through a shorter commissioning process.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the DSSC 34/2025 enlistment, applicants must meet the following conditions:

Nationality & Age
- Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
- Age: 20–32 years (General Applicants).
- Medical Consultants: 25–40 years.
Physical & Medical Requirements
- Height: Minimum 1.66m (men) and 1.63m (women).
- Applicants must be physically, medically, and psychologically fit.
- No criminal record.
Academic Requirements
- Minimum of Second Class Upper for degree holders or Upper Credit for HND holders.
- MSc/MA, professional certifications, and computer literacy are added advantages.
- Must have five credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics.
- NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Letter is mandatory.
