Drake and iHeart recently reached an “amicable resolution” regarding payola allegations linked to Kendrick Lamar’s diss track, “Not Like Us.” After iHeartMedia provided evidence they had not done anything illegal, Drake released them from his lawsuit. DJ Akademiks has been one of Drake’s biggest supporters and has sided with the Canadian rapper the entire time, and Charlamagne poked fun at his biased coverage. Akademiks says that the only reason Drake dropped the suit is because iHeartMedia is already being investigated by the FCC.
