DJ Akademiks has taken his long-running feud with Lil Baby to a new and alarming level, unleashing a string of insults and threats and even wishing death on the rapper’s family.
The media personality began venting online after claiming someone from Lil Baby’s team slapped him in Miami.
In multiple clips circulating this week, Akademiks accused the rapper’s camp of pretending to be friendly while working against him behind the scenes.

“You ducked and then had your assistant touch me,” Akademiks said in one livestream. “I’ll squabble with you any time. You DM’d me, ‘Where you at?’ I told you where I was and you never showed up.”
His remarks quickly grew more extreme and in another clip, Akademiks made a shocking statement, saying, “I hope everyone in your family dies if you ever deny this, and I will never take it back, because I do not lie.”
He later moved the feud to X, where he mocked Lil Baby’s music and predicted failure for his next project. “I can’t wait for the album,” he wrote. “Gon be a hot pile of garbage. But I wanna watch it burn.”
The tension between the two dates back several years. Lil Baby previously referenced Akademiks in songs from his 2022 album It’s Only Me, after taking offense to comments about money and status. Since then, the pair have traded verbal shots on and off.
