After Young Thug claimed on social media that all rappers who snitch should turn to gospel music, DJ Akademiks hopped online to respond with an interesting take.
“If u a rapper and u a rat, u gotta just go gospel twin,” Thugger tweeted.
Ak quickly clapped back, “Somebody gotta tell Young Thug that he’s the last rapper on earth who cares who SNITCHING. Lowkey half these n—as telling and the ones telling make the best music. Fans don’t give af.”
Surprisingly, Young Thug seemed to agree with the media personality.
“That’s actually crazy but true, except the making the best music part,” he wrote.
Young Thug has repeatedly called Gunna a “rat” and questioned his loyalty after he accepted an Alford plea. Gunna’s legal team swiftly pushed back, stressing he “did NOT cooperate… said NOTHING to cause harm.”
Since his release from jail, Gunna’s music career has continued to flourish. Gunna’s first song after his release from jail was “Bread & Butter,” which peaked at #48 on the Billboard chart. Thugger’s single, “Money on Money,” released in May, debuted at #39 on the Billboard charts.
