DJ Akademiks turned his livestream into headline fuel this week after unleashing a fiery rant aimed at Joe Budden Podcast contributor Mona Love, also known as Don’t Call Me White Girl.

The media personality addressed unexpected criticism by saying, “You ever have somebody not even on your mind and they’re trying to make themselves a thing?” before adding, “I don’t want to see you talk about me no more, gang.”

Akademiks repeatedly mocked Love’s position on the Joe Budden Podcast, joking about her status in the lineup and calling her “the P mic over there.” He urged her to “calm your triple chin a– down” and suggested she should stay focused on her role rather than calling him out publicly.

“Through preliminary research, I don’t know if this is really what you want to do,” he said, questioning why she would pick a fight with him at all.

“She dominates conversations with anecdotes that I don’t care about,” Akademiks said, explaining why he now skips through episodes. “For the first 15 minutes you’re like, nah, she dope, and then two hours in you realize she won’t stop talking.”

Despite the barrage, Akademiks insisted he was not interested in an ongoing feud. “This is a pre warning,” he said. “I’m not going back and forth with her.”
