British YouTuber and BMX rider, Ryan Taylor has revealed the reason for his breakup with Nigerian disc jockey and billionaire’s daughter, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy.

Naijaonpoint reports that DJ Cuppy and Ryan Taylor’s engagement sparked excitement in December 2022, shortly after the pair met during the Gumball 3000 rally.

Taylor, proposed to Cuppy barely a month of dating, and by mid-2023, fans noticed that the couple had unfollowed each other on Instagram, hinting at trouble in paradise.

Speaking on the Ladders Podcast, the 32-year-old British boxer reflected on their short term relationship, stating that certain issues created distance between them.

Taylor claimed that the entertainer showed a lack of interest in working with Nigerians in some professional spaces.

According to him, no contracts or non-disclosure agreements were binding them, adding that he walked away from the relationship with only valuable lessons.

He said, “Is it weird that I told you she didn’t like Nigerians? She came into my business and didn’t even want Nigerian staff.”

“To be honest, what I got from that was lessons. Everything that happens, happens for a reason. But do I regret it? No. Lesson learned. Next!

“I learned that money is not everything, but not having it is.”
